@adam_aau (continue from previous message) So yes, I agree that being nice is nice. But I repeat that frustration at this longstanding, continuous, AND FIXABLE issue is at least understandable.

@adam_aau (continued from previous message) These pleas from members have consistently been ignored, or at the very least have had no noticeable effect on the problem.
At best, they'll occasionally get a response like "All they have to do is read the group's description, and then they'd understand it's not the forum they're looking for." The problem with this theory, of course, is that it clearly has not, does not, and will not actually solve the problem.

@adam_aau (continued from previous message) But what I DO think is the fault of chess.com and/or the admins is that we currently HAVE the benefit of hindsight, and nothing is done about it. This despite many pleas from members over the months and years to do something. To stop us from being spammed by people who misunderstand. Change the name of the club to be less attractive to people who think it's the way to get in touch with the site's developers, for example.

@adam_aau (continued from previous message) The reason I personally place the real blame there is that the name of the club is very, very easily open to being misinterpreted in this way, and as history has shown, it is very, very frequently actually BEEN misinterpreted in this way. In and of itself, that's not the fault of chess.com or the admins; the problem that has happened based on this naming is probably only clear in hindsight.

@adam_aau This forum is frequently overrun by people who misunderstand what it's for, leading to every member getting constantly spammed by irrelevant notifications.
I can't blame the people having this misunderstanding, but I do think it's at least understandable that members take out their frustration by trying to discourage them in some small way (e.g. downvotes). But the real blame, in my opinion, lies with chess.com, or possibly the club admins.

is there something like https://github.com/lichess-org/external-engine for chess.com? Basically, I'm trying to do something like:
```
#!/bin/bash
ssh <my_server> ./stockfish "\$@" ```
@kurosakiee Sorry to hear that, I liked your project and hoped to see something new in the future. I hope you'll change your mind some day.
I don't get why being nice to each other is worth some sort of punishment or critique :|
You cannot submit puzzles for the main "daily puzzle" feature on Chess.com, as it is only available to staff. However, you can share your own custom-made puzzles with the community by posting them in the forums. To do this, click the game board icon in the forum editor, set up your position, go to the "Theme" tab to select "Puzzle," and then click "Insert" to share it.
