My partner contacted me asking what I taught of possibly creating our own league that would, in his own words "cut through all the crap and just promote playing chess." My reply is that it would be more than possible if we gather enough people to help out.

There's a lot of live leagues, but none truly like Chess.com Nations League, none are supported or created by chess.om like this one is. It would be tragic to see this league diminish and vise versa it would be amazing to see it thrive.

"Off Topic" I would like to make a consideration for season 5, if we are gracious enough to have one. Perhaps considering opening the league beyond federations can be a great step towards growth, as we progress from season to season. It would be pleasing to see any nation represented by one national team, no matter if it's a chess federation or not.
