Perhaps check https://www.chess.com/learn-how-to-play-chess ? I'd start by practicing how to get all the pieces moving and making sure that you don't accidentally move them the wrong ways ;)

Hi, I am Noralie from Belgium. I want to learn how to play chess. But I don’t know where to start. I find it very hard to see which piece to move and feel like the worst player ever. But I joined here so that’s a start.
