So, I would like to start this club lesson out by writing down the openings I suggested without you having to look them up.

Some other suggestions that I have for openings are the Italian, Fried liver, Gucio piano, and the Evans gambit.

You have to know how not to fall into the traps of the fantasy variation as well, I learned about the fantasy variation from a gothamchess video. It was a really good video! Maybe check it out!

Hi guys welcome to the club!!!!!!!! The first topic for our study is chess openings. We will be starting out with the caro kann defense. I really like it because you can learn the lines and easily start off with a better position than your opponent by studying the variations! My advice if you are playing with the black pieces is to play the main line. If you are playing against the main line I suggest the fantasy variation.
