I haven't set it up yet. I will send them the challenge. Since it is a thematic game, I have to do a specific starting position and I am trying to figure it out as the only set position the site has for the Staunton Gambit is after 1. d4 f5 2. e4 fxe4 3. Nc3 Nf6 5. Bg5 and I don't know if we want to be limited to that line.
Hi there! I know we've been rather inactive but I just thought I'd see if there is any interest to play a Vote Chess game. I was contacted by a Super Admin for "The Dynamic Dutch" and they would like to play a thematic game so that we will be playing the Staunton Gambit against their Dutch. I always found the Staunton fun to play. Any takers?
Hi there, Gurkensapp! I wish I could say, "Welcome to Gambit Lines! Feel free to join our matches and Vote Chess games" but as you can probably see thru a quick browse of our page, this group has been inactive for quite a while now. Who knows? Maybe you will be the spark that gets us going again. I myself am just too busy to be an Admin. My apologies.
Over a period of four days, these experts in Structural Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, and History gave researched and professional testimony to an international panel of distinguished judges. The panel of judges, in conjunction with the steering committee would go on to publish their final analysis of the evidence provided, which called for a new investigation into the Attacks of September 11th, 2001. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqqelDq4P48
I'll be leaving the group shortly to make some room for others. Although it wasn't very active - if there was some activity I enjoyed it. If someone wants to stay in touch, send me a friend request, I'm still into gambits - and I also play vote chess.
I don't know. The problem with slow VC games is that it's easy to lose interest. Paradoxically, one team is more likely to time out precisely for that reason.
