@michael09117 Sadly, I am only on the online campus, but that sounds awesome, and I am looking for something locally as I think it could help me out a lot.
if any university of arizona students want to play on a board, there is a chess club every tuesday from 7pm to 9pm in the main library room 112. UOA Students only, its pretty populated so you will have plent of people today. some of them are 1800s so you can learn a few things too.
@DrJamesCMoore that sounds like fun I would be interested in something like that. @TheRealEricCartman Thanks! It's only in puzzles but was nice to see for sure.
@MechaLake Great job on reaching 1500! One of the things I don't like about chess.com is that it locks the essential resources needed for improvement behind a paywall. For puzzles, I recommend lichess.org (unlimited puzzles every day for free). For openings, lichess does have an opening explorer and youtube is also a great resource. Hope this helps and feel free to use any site you want :).
@DrJamesCMoore I try to do my puzzles everyday and reached have reached 1500 doing so. I think I have hit. A point where I may be researching to many openings and not solidifying one or two and I am getting them confused within each other.
