Live matches followed by public analysis
Okay folks here is the plan to try and be a little more active while we are still on some sort of partial lockdown due to covid 19. My plan is to preschedule some live matches with various opponents, post the schedule in the club so that others can observe if they choose to. POOR RICH'S CHESS CLUB GOES TO SAINT PETE

Field Trip TIme!
Ok here are the details for upcoming field trip from Poor Rich's Chess Club.
We will be traveling to the historic St. Pete Chess Club on Saturday April 20th. We will be leaving around 9am from Spring Hill. We expect to return around 8pm, but that could be affected by where and when and if we stop for dinner. It will be an all day experience.

This is a rated USCF tournament (thus a USCF membership is required, but can be purchased on site)

Poor Rich's Chess Club
Hello everyone!
Just a quick club update. A lot has been going on at the club recently. We have been numerous fun field trips around the area. These include the following:
We have gone to Ybor to play chess at "the bricks" with Chess with Cochez. We had a nice dinner a few drinks and some great chess with some new faces.
Also some members have got USCF memberships and have traveled to historic St. Pete Chess Club to play in rated over the board tournaments. I was one of those members ...
