PSYCHOBIOMACHINE

PSYCHOBIOMACHINE is a club for people interested in the neurocognitive elements of chess play and how such elements might influence adaptability in real life scenarios such as social combat. Chess engages executive abilities associated with the prefrontal cortex [PFC] such as working memory, reasoning, and decision making. It's interesting to experience analyzing tactics, move sequences, tempo, and evaluating position/trades and then considering what might be their instantaneous underlying neural and neuroeconomic activity.

The content of my blog is not exclusively chess, rather it is generally neurocognitive. The goals are to share models, mechanisms, and context to facilitate readers development of the ability to experience the world and simultaneously understand how their central nervous system is being effected in real time.
