Queen City Chess Club of New Iberia

Queen City Chess Club was recently created and is an official affiliate of the US Chess Federation. We offer over the board games once a week in New Iberia or towns close to New Iberia found in Iberia Parish.  We maintain a facebook page and have players from around Lousiana who join us to play.  We accept all players including those who simply want to learn how to play the game of chess.  We offer a casual environment and causal play for no ratings at our weekly over the board events.  During the summer of 2025 we will begin holding tournaments on Chess.com.  Your online rating does not affect your official USCF “Over the Board” rating, so join us to have some fun.
