This forum is meant as a starting point for conversations on admin responsibilities. All items listed here are tentative only.

Admin Responsibilities:

1) Invite new members. Should only founder or SAs do mass invite?

2) Ban members who violate rules

3) Delete posts which violate rules

4) Welcome new members. In group Notes (or personal Notes and PM)

5) Jump start conversation on Notes and in forums if it dies out

6) Make new cool and interested forum on chess or which fit group profile

7) Invite strong players to open team matches (personal Notes or PM)

8) Invite inactive members to post in hot forums (personal Notes or PM)

9) Evolve group description

10) Contribute with jokes, humor and wit where ever possible

Specific Responsibilities:

1) Newsletter contributor: write columns for newsletter

2) Newsletter editor: compiles all columns, edit and publish

3) Team Match Captain: manage all team matches challenges

4) Team Match Graphic Support: add imagery to team match home page

5) Vote Capt.: Guide discussion and call votes in Vote Chess. Different games could have different Vote Captain

6) Master Chess Puzzler: publish daily chess puzzle

7) Group Strategist: responsible for overall recruitment/rentention strategy, group mission statement as well as templates for new things (such as initial newsletter)

*) Senior recruiter: Lead about special chess.com members with exceptional abilities get passed to senior recruiter who in turn court these individual and try to get them to join group.
