This club is being set up by Team Scotland admins to help with cooperation between Team Scotland and the various Scottish county clubs.

We believe working together can aid recruitment. County clubs are more likely to be able to recruit in local OTB clubs and events, while online-only players are more likely to search for and find Team Scotland. Promoting each other helps both sets of players find both Team Scotland and their local county club.

We also believe that sharing occasional reports of Team Scotland's achievements in the various county clubs and the achievements of the county clubs within Team Scotland will help to foster a strengthened community spirit across all Scottish clubs.

To this end, Team Scotland has posted a list of the various county clubs in the club sidebar:

We request that the county clubs post a similarly prominent link to Team Scotland.

We have also created the Scottish Counties Coordination Council club for admins of Team Scotland and the county clubs to occasionally share the achievements of their club - perhaps at the end of a league season. Team Scotland can then report to its members on what is happening around the country at the different county clubs.

All admins of the Scottish county clubs are being invited to join this club. We recommend that each county club have at least one representative join, but all admins are welcome.
