Stale chess is a variant I came up with over 2 years ago. Originally, I intended for it to only have the winning condition of putting your opponent in stalemate. However, this led to many draws. Now there is an additional way to win, if your opponent has 3 or less pieces at any point they lose the game. Anyways, here’s the rules

rule 1:

No checks, No player may play any move that would cause any king to be put into check on that turn

rule 2:

A player wins either by stalemating their opponent or by taking all but 3 of the opponents pieces ( note: pawns do not count as pieces)

rule 3:

All games must be casual, I have a seperate rating system if you want to play “rated”. If you play rated on chess.com they will think you’re sandbagging
