I think now that Riga's gone we could have little discussion about how to recruit new members.

To open the discussion I'll outline possible guidelines:

We are mainly looking players that are active in vote chess, can and are willing to explain their ideas and can work as a part of a team.
Faithfull to the original purpose of this group we are especially interested about those players who can analyse the strategic aspects of the game.
Due to the existing problem of cheating on chess.com we should additionally look out any potential warning signs in this regard.
Other usefull skills could be knowledge of other VC teams (here we lost big time with Riga) and chess.com community in general or admin skills.
If you notice someone you think would be a good fit then post brief description why you think that person would suit us plus maybe some links to VC games which she/he has participated in. Perhaps we could collect this info in a separate forum thread.
Then we can decide as a group whether to invite or not

There's not much that's radically new there. Probably mainly the fact that I suggest giving the whole group possibility to weight in the decision. I think previously the decisions were taken by few admins.

I believe we should be looking to add few new members since our VC games could use some extra input but there's no hurry. The most important thing is to add quality not quantity.
