Format 6 Rd Swiss + 1 Rd Playoff for 1st to 3rd place.
Length of Season 2014 : 1 year
Prior to the announcement of the round pairings the admins will record the momentary results of the matches in progress and use them to generate the pairings. The results will be crosschecked to assure accuracy.Start Date as will be set in the challenges. See here
Minimum number of players per team: 7. No maximum number of players.
Rating Range: Open
Time: 3days/move, Games to be played concurrently (i.e. change default setting from "1" to "2", see here how to do it.)
Player eligibility: All admins understand that this is a competition between players of the respective teams and adhere to the rules governing chess for such a competition. A player can only play for one team no matter how many teams they are in, in other divisions. Once he plays for a team he has to stay with that one team throughout the season. Players may not belong to any other teams in any other division in the league.
Teams may not remove players from their roster once a player has joined a match to obtain a more favorable match up. If done, a warning will be issued and appropriate action will be taken.
Match scores will be finalized after taking into consideration the account closures of members due to cheating. This will occur when we announce division standings, ahead of beginning of the playoffs, and when the results of the playoffs are announced to the group.
