I don't think it is foolish. What he means is, all games are won due to someone's mistake. What is described is a "winning" move is just the correct move in the position. There is no move that wins if the opponent plays correctly throughout the game.

Matthew Sadler has recently released a book called The Silicon Road to Chess Improvement, which advocates learning better chess from engines. I am mostly of the opinion that it is better to learn from chess masters and other strong human players.

We are starting a new series of practice tournaments based on rook endgame positions. These tournaments start off with the simple positions before proceeding to more advanced positions. In the first tournament all games start with the Lucena Position.
