Hi everyone! I'm glad to announce that we're all registered and confirmed in the league and the first team to do so!

Now that our team is locked, it will be important for us to prepare and be in tip-top shape before the event starts.

For practice, I would probably recommend every day:

1 round of 3 min Puzzle Battle (for speed)
At least 3 rated puzzles (set 1 min max)
Daily Puzzle
Survival Puzzle Rush (for accuracy)
Bullet games
- 1 2|1
- 2-3 1|0
- 1 30 sec

This might seem like a lot, but it will probably pay off. Hopefully, if you do actually do this every day, your rating will increase by 50 or even 100 points!

Tips and Tricks

Forcing moves!! Checks, captures, threats. Most bullet games will be decided by who makes the last decisive blunder. Learning to recognize when your opponent has done so is obviously very important. Look for any hanging pieces and any possible checks. Are your opponent's pieces in a straight line? Look for pins! Is your opponent's king in the center? Try to keep it there!
Blunder check. You want to exploit your opponent's mistakes, but you also don't want to make too many of your own. Check your move before you make it (for a second). This can help avoid a lot of blunders. (For 30 second, you might just have to make a split-second decision.)
Check your opponent. A general rule of bullet is that you want to check your opponent. Most importantly, that prevents them from premoving, which will gain you a significant amount of time due to their surprise.
If you're up on time, keep the game complicated. And, if you're down, trade pieces. If you have a lot of time, you want to confuse your opponent to make him blunder.
