Its funny how complicated we can do things, one that has us puzzle is how to improve our chess ( specially the practical part) and therre is an easy tool that is maybe the most cheap of oall the methods, analyze our games by our own and guess the moves in games of stronger players.

Vince actually mention the last during the hangout, he start to find new ideas when he see games of stronger players, chessbase ( i dont know if Scid has it , but i think it also does) has a training mode ( you can also close the notation window) that doesn't show the moves of the game so you can study a game and try to guess every move. This exercise is the most powerfull by far, the problen is that it requires quite a time because see an entire game can take quite long ( an hour easily), an also is a little boring doing it alone.

Anyway i think we should give it a real try, and the next time we do a hangout i want to show you how we can do it and how to use Scid or Chessbase, how to analyze our games , because i think we can make more interesting the hangouts , and more usefull too. Also if some of you has some topic to talk about ( an opening, ending , middlegame ideas, whatever...) say it an i can try to prepair something, even we can make a training sesssion.

But again, just analyze our games and guess the moves of stronger players is easy to apply, cheap and we can improve a lot with, and i think that if we all make it together, also much more fun.
