The USA is a world leader in more ways than one. We've had some seriously bad governmental 'leaders' in recent years. Actually since 1776. Drunks, womanizers, duelists, criminals. the lot.

But being ridiculed for the most recent batch is a bit lopsided considering the heads and asses of state worldwide. Let's review shall we?

India - arguably the most corrupt government east of Iran. But then who can take anything seriously in a country with 700 gods and cows that roam the streets as sacred beings.

Phillipines - the president is Bongbong Marcos. That's enough for a laugh right there but it gets worse. For some reason he has a high popularity rating in the country but here is the current travel advisory for the Phillipines. "Exercise increased caution in the Philippines due to crime, terrorism, civil unrest, and kidnapping. Some areas have increased risk." That sounds like fun.

Canada - Long renowned for it's friendly people (they're not smiling their teeth are clenched from shivering), their leader has some dubious connection to Fidel Castro. Real or not rumors persist and yes he does resemble him and a case could be made depending on what you believe to be true.

France - What hasn't been said? Emmanuel Macron is the president and just won a second term against La Pen. (is that actually a name? I thought it was La Plume.) Anyway the people must like him but France has had a bad rap since WW2 and longer if you ask a Brit,

Britain - or if you insist, Great Britain, although, like the royal family, the term may be defunct. They are in the news again, the royals that is. Something about Andrew or one of those do nothings the Brits seem to want to support as a 'symbol' of something or other.

Australia - the newly elected Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced an inquiry into the previous PM, Scott Morrison, for abuse of power by installing himslef as head of five senior government portfolios -- including health; finance; treasury and home affairs; and industry, science and resources -- between 2020 and 2021, mostly without the knowledge of the ministers who held each role. Ah, corruption thy name is politics.

Please feel free to ridicule the country of your choice. There are plenty to choose from. Somewhere between 197 and 215 depending on who you ask.
