After Bxf7 to start with you should try the strange looking Ke7 rather than Kf8, if you haven't already.

I have trouble with Bxf7 too; White just plays Bd5, I play Rf8, White castles and then plays d4 and my king is stuck there in the center...

iirc 6 Bd5 is actually the worst retreat for White; both 6 Bb3 and 6 Bc4 are better
