this is a chess site. there is no place for extreme politidal or religious posts. mr. mmmustafa should be aware of this. he has every right to voice his opinion...at the correct venue. this is not. my message is to acmins. you have a responsibility to ensure members a safe, happy, productive environment.. erase his comment and diirect him to the proper venue. thank you.

Pleae reply if you want to be an admin for the group.  I have too many commitments outside chess at the moment to organise matches and generate discussion / recruit more active members.  With 4 more admin people we can share out the responsibilities without it being a burden. Peter

Over the next few weeks I shall post a series of pictures from places that I have visited over the years.  The first place is a picture of a fishing festival somewhere in Africa.  What is the name of the fishing festival (it is named after the town where it takes place).  The fishermen fish in pairs with nets and catch the fish by diving down with their nets.   Fishermen preparing to dive with their nets.  Look at th size of the fish they catch simply by diving with their nets.

Not many people outside Wales realise that we have a distinct heritage and ancient language that has little to do withAnglo saxon England. Laver is an edible seaweed and contains a high content of minerals, in  particularly iodine and iron. Laver is also consumed in East Asia, where it is known as zicai in China, or nori in Japan, and gim in Korea. In Wales, laver is used for making laverbread.
