Overview:

The B2Z Hub Story was renowned chess.com author, @Leons_Pet_Chess_Set's, third web series. It was extremely well received, with over 200 peak comments on most news posts. It was originally released on October 3, 2021, with its final chapter being released on January 1, 2022. Its release schedule was weekly, with some exceptions.

The Original Story was praised for its snide, sometimes crass humor, and gripping political setting. Its use of real B1Z Hub members as characters likely played a part in its popularity as well, due to many users wanting to become a prominent character.

Summary:

Chapter 1 - The Beginning of a Drunken Apocalypse

Leon the Narrator explains how the earth was annihilated in a nuclear war over cannabis, with Russia being the main county blamed due to their possession of the drug when everyone else had run out. The Bizmarkien Empire was created out of the ashes of the destroyed world, with the story taking place five years after the creation of the nation, when a man named Daniel came to town. The citizens question Daniel on his ethnicity, wanting to see if he's Russian, but Daniel explains that he's Ukrainian.

Chapter 2 - Rise of the Batman Fan Club

Leon the Narrator explains how the Bizmarkien Empire is currently undergoing a civil war with a revolutionary organization called the Dark Knights. The Dark Knights are a group of people who are unsatisfied with the way King Bizmark treats his citizens and want to overthrow him. Meanwhile, Aza-kun informs Bizmark and his officials that Ukraine was formerly part of the Soviet Union, and so Daniel is actually Russian. King Bizmark sends out a search party to abduct Daniel as Aza approaches Daniel in an attempt to get captured by the Dark Knights and tortured, which Aza will apparently enjoy due to his BDSM kink. He succeeds, but Dark Knights Leader Neon manages to get information out of Aza by not torturing him.

Chapter 3 - Moving into Position

Aza manages to trick Neon and escape the Dark Knights compound with the help of Dark Knights soldier ShouldBeABreeze. Meanwhile, Daniel, who is almost back to the Dark Knights compound is intercepted by Masked Nuisance, the Second Inspector, who grills him for information. Masked is unable to get any info from Daniel, but Jenny, the last female left in the Bizmarkien Empire, stumbles upon the two and offers to help Masked gain information. He accepts Jenny's offer and leaves her and Daniel to themselves, but secretly places a tracking device on Daniel in order to find the location of the Dark Knight lair in case of any foul play. As Masked had predicted, Jenny betrays the Bizmarkien Empire and asks Daniel to join the Dark Knights. Finally, Neon calls Leon to ask for his help in the rebellion.

Chapter 4 - Eerie Premonitions

Hvonk, King Bizmark's psychic younger brother has a dream of the Bizmarkien Palace destroyed in a great fire as Leon arrives at the Dark Knights compound. As he's being shown to his room by Breeze, Leon accuses him of letting Aza escape the compound. Breeze, realizing Leon's story of how he deduced this fact doesn't make sense, breaks into Leon's room as he's sleeping and steals Leon's laptop in order to find out how he really knew. Meanwhile, Aza, who is completely lost in a jungle, encounters Rainbow, the inventor of cannabis.

Chapter 5 - He Who Strikes First, Always Wins

Masked informs King Bizmark that he has found the location of the Dark Knights base with his tracking device as Daniel arrives at the compound. Neon and Mox quickly discover said device on Daniel after a short conversation. Realizing that the Empire now knows the Dark Knights' location, many different opinions form on how to deal with the current scenario. Neon wants to keep the existence of the device a secret and try to promote negotiations, while Mox wants to storm the Bizmarkien Empire. They have a heated argument where Neon orders Mox to stand down, but Mox defies her and secretly leads an attack on the Empire with a group of members that support his way of thinking. To make sure Neon can't interfere, he locks her in the spa room while she and Jenny are bathing. Meanwhile, Leon realizes that Breeze has stolen his laptop and freaks out since his laptop is actually an artifact of limitless power. Masked goes to the Dark Knights base in order to scout out the location.

Chapter 6 - Devious Lick

Leon and Daniel, who have joined Mox's troops in the siege of the Bizmarkien Empire, decide to go off-mission and kill Hvonk, a child who is immune to Leon's laptop's powers and unwittingly spreads his immunity to people he cares about. Leon and Daniel find Hvonk, but fail to kill him due to Breeze using the laptop's powers to give Leon a second penis. Running away from Leon and Daniel, Hvonk seeks the aid of his friend, Crayon, who owns a merchandise shop. Soon after Hvonk meets up with Crayon, though, their shop is robbed by street gangster Duntcare, but the two narrowly manage to escape alive. Meanwhile, Rainbow reveals to Aza that he has found out a way to defy the laws of nature, and asks Aza to become his apprentice. Aza accepts the offer.

Chapter 7 - Down the Sewer Slide

Hvonk and Crayon, continuing their scramble away from Duntcare's gangsters, enter an abandoned office building for shelter. They hide in the darkness of the structure and manage to shake off the mobsters chasing them, but Hvonk has another one of his psychic dreams that depict Crayon being shot and killed by Leon in 18 minutes. Meanwhile, Breeze and Jaro experiment with Leon's laptop of limitless power, eventually deciding to teleport Neon and Jenny to their location, which saves them from Mox's spa trap.

Chapter 8 - Height Impediment

During Mox's attack on the Bizmarkien royal palace, some children whose fathers were killed in the assault confront Mox about the Dark Knights harming innocent Bizmarkien citizens and attack him. Mox is forced to murder all seven children as Leon and Daniel track down Hvonk. However, Leon mistakes Crayon for Hvonk and kills Crayon instead. Meanwhile, Jenny uses the laptop to transport the Dark Knights loyal to Neon into the Bizmarkien Empire so that they can stop Mox.

Chapter 9 - Inspect Element

Mox, Leon, and Daniel are arrested by the Dark Knights for participating in the raid while Rainbow and Aza hone their supernatural abilities. Meanwhile, Masked arrives at the Dark Knights base and pokes around for half an hour before getting caught by Neon and Mox.

Chapter 10 - I Broke My Crayon

King Bizmark, General Platypus, and Senior Adviser Ninja discuss Project Iris, a machine designed to drain Jenny's blood so that the robot can reproduce and repopulate the human race as Leon, Daniel, and Mox are taken to prison. Daniel is put in the same cell as Masked, and Leon is put in the same cell as Mox. Leon escapes from captivity and goes to retrieve his laptop, believing that he had killed Hvonk. Getting ahold of the laptop and testing it, Leon realizes that he shot the wrong person. Distressed and enraged, Leon uses the laptop to control Neon into killing Masked to distract her so that she won't kill Leon for breaking out of his cell. Meanwhile, Rainbow tells Aza the secret of his newfound powers, which stem from a new version of the cannabis plant created by Rainbow known as "Maho." Maho is a hallucinatory drug which is used to erase negative emotions from the user. Rainbow then explains that he wishes to addict everyone in the Bizmarkien Empire to Maho in order to bring about world peace. Aza, being under the influence already, joins Rainbow in his endeavors.

Chapter 11 - Shipley Saves Lives

Daniel, who escaped from his cell with the help of Jenny, convince Neon not to execute Masked in order to prevent her from and losing her peaceful ideology in the name of revenge. Masked uses this conversation as a distraction and escapes from his cell. Then, King Bizmark and his top executives have a diplomatic voice call with Dark Knights Neon, Leon, and Mox. They agree to trade Jenny and Mox for the king's brother, Hvonk, but Masked overhears the conversation.

Chapter 12 - Utilitarianism!

Aza and Rainbow start converting people to their cause by injecting them with Maho. Meanwhile, King Bizmark gives a speech to his people on how he indirectly caused the attack led by Mox and apologizes to his citizens. He then incites them to action against the Dark Knights, promising to fix his mistakes by bringing about Mox's death. Back at the Dark Knights base, Masked tries to find Jenny so that he can save her and stop the trade deal. On the way, however, he is intercepted by ShouldBeABreeze. They battle, and Masked eventually wins the conflict. Daniel and Jenny find Masked just after their fight ends. A conversation ensues, where the three acquaintances realize that there's no way for Jenny to escape the compound. Masked sneaks back into the vents as Neon restrains both Daniel and Jenny in preparation for the trade deal.

Chapter 13 - The Ultimate Ace in the Hole

Aza and Rainbow plan to convert the entirety of the Empire by releasing a gaseous form of Maho into the air, weakening the minds of all citizens while the members of the Dark Knights travel to the Empire in order to facilitate the trade deal. When they arrive at the border of the Empire, though, the arrangement goes sour when King Bizmark refuses to hand over Hvonk. Enraged, the Dark Knights attack the Bizmarkiens with their full force, Leon even opting to use his ace in the hole, when his pet guinea pig, named "Strong and Tough Dinosaur," transforms into a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The ensuing battle is a complete rout, and the Bizmarkien Empire surrenders and is annexed by the Dark Knight rebellion. However, just as the Knights are about to take power, Aza and Rainbow release the gas Maho into the air, and make everyone at the scene hallucinate that the pair are riding a dragon, turning the battle into a chaotic mess. Meanwhile, Back at the Dark Knights compound, Masked finds Leon's laptop and attempts to hack it, but Leon's defenses are too strong. Just as he's about to give up, though, a stranger named Max appears before Masked and stops time, pulling himself and the Inspector into a limbo dimension so that Masked can write the B1Z Hub Prequel on the laptop.
