Hello fellow chess teammates!

Nic here, I'm just posting this forum topic to help you guys out with using these forums and our page in general. I just want to cover a few key things and just a few simple rules we should all follow.

First off, I hope you are enjoying chess.com! It's a really great resource if you want to get better at chess for your personal enjoyment, and for the improvement of the team! Here are a few things I recommend while using this site.

If you want to really improve your game, try visiting the site on a daily basis if you can. In just 15 minutes, you could:

-Solve the Daily Puzzle (Seen on the home page)

-Use the Tactics Trainer (Also seen on the home page)

-Set up a game of Correspondence Chess with a friend/teammate (You guessed it, it's on the homepage)

-Play a 10-minute blitz game on Live Chess (And yet again, homepage)

-And then, if you still have time, you can read some articles or watch videos on the...yeah, the homepage. ;)

If you make this a daily or every-other-day routine, you'll be playing great chess in no time! :)

Now for a few rules regarding the forum.

-Please use the forums for what it is intending for...chess discussion. This is the place to go if you have questions or want to share your thoughts with fellow teammates to improve each other's skills. Please keep random social talk to a minimum.

-When posting on the forums, be RESPECTFUL. No inappropriate posts or comments will be tolerated. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it all.

-And lastly, it would be really helpful if you would be sure to use the appropriate topic for what you want to discuss and stick to that topic. For example: Only discuss famous/relevant games in the "Great Games of Chess" topic, and personal games only in the "Personal Chess Games" topic. This will keep things organized and helpful.
