World Championship Circuit - Daily
This is the official club for World Championship Circuit (Daily). The second edition of the Championship circuit is starting June 2023. The tournaments of this circuit will be held between June 2023 to April 2024 to find out the WCC World Champion 2023-24. If you are already playing a WCC tournament or willing to join the circuit, join this club to get all the updates. This club will serve as an archive for all the current and past WCC tournaments and will be used for announcements and updates of upcoming WCC tournaments.
Below is the list of tournaments planned for this circuit and the process to qualify for the Candidates tournament:
WCC World Cup (June 2023) - 32 Players Knockout tournament : Top two players qualify for the Candidates
WCC Grand Swiss Tournament (July 2023) - 20 Players (divided into 2 groups) Swiss tournament : Top two players qualify for the Candidates
WCC Amateur Challenger (September 2023) - 12 Amateur Players (rating range 800-1800) tournament : Winner qualifies for the Candidates
WCC Grand Prix (October 2023-December 2023) - A series of 3 tournaments consisting 16 players in each tournament : Top 2 Player with most points in all 3 tournaments combined will qualify for the Candidates
In case of an already qualified player qualifying again through the next tournament, the next ranked player in the tournament will qualify for the Candidates. In the unlikely event of a qualified player being banned/unavailable for the candidates, the next highest ranked player in the tournament will be invited for the candidates
WCC Candidates Tournament (January - February 2024) - 8 Players will play Swiss tournament. 7 players qualify through different tournaments mentioned above. One spot is reserved for last year's Championship final runner up : Top 2 players qualify for the World Championship
WCC World Championship (March - April 2024) - Top 2 candidates will play Swiss tournament with current World Champion: Winner of the tournament becomes the WCC World Champion
