Aberdeenshire welcomes players from, or with links to Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, and / or Moray.

Aberdeenshire play in 3 main Daily format (3 days per move) competitions:

• County Championship Council UK and Ireland
  The chess.com official Daily-format league comprising English Counties, Scottish Regions and Irish Provinces. 
  
  
• World Cities League
  Where we compete with other cities from around the world.
  
  
• European Inter-Regio Championship
  Where we compete against other European teams, often joining other Scottish teams under the 'Scotland the Brave' umbrella.
