MRT Chess Club
The MRT Chess Club was first created in 1918, right after the first world war. During the great depression in the 1930's, MRT Chess Club became a a beacon of hope for the Montreal chess community and led them to destabilization. MRTCC is still seen today as the true heroes of WW2, as it won the war in 3 moves by doing a scholars mate on the opposing team. As of now, MRTCC has grown exponentially and is now the largest chess club on this side of the globe.
