Team Channel Islands
The Channel Islands are a group of British islands on the coast of France. This group is for Channel Island players, or those with links to the Channel Islands. Team Channel Islands is the official online platform of Jersey Chess Club on Chess.com. It is also the recognised on-line platform of Guernsey chess club. Besides keeping members informed of on-line activity we also post information about face to face chess in both Islands. We are an active club with an annual internal club competition and lots of friendly matches against other teams. We play matches in both the English counties league and against other small nations in the European League. We are always looking for new members of all abilities to play in our teams. We play matches and tournaments at all levels of ability and we are a very friendly bunch. Join us if you are a Channel Islander by birth or residency. You will be very welcome.
