This is a conversation lounge, we discuss and debate topics of interest. 

Our forums are quite diverse, with over 8,700 postings of them to choose from. Find a topic you'd like to join in on, or start one yourself.

And yes, there are chess matches here. We have played over fifty events so far, and with more time and effort, we hope to steadily increase that. (There is a coordinater position open here for a titled player.)
