The Pawn Collectors < 1000 Group
Pawn Collectors is a group designed for players rated less than 1000 only - a place to talk about the game of chess and hopefully play similarly rated players.
Those who simply want a place to play peers have found a home.
We try to play matches with other teams (hard to find challengers) but we also have on-going intergroup matches.
It is part of four interlinked groups covering four ranges of ratings - Pawn Collectors, Knight Collectors, Bishop Collectors and Rook Collectors.
Our goal is to provide members a place to make friends and play matches within their rating range and then have a group to graduate too as they improve.
