Triangulum Galaxy Club-M33
- Hello, Welcome to the club!
- Triangulum Galaxy (M33) is a spiral galaxy located about 2.73 million light-years away in the Triangulum constellation. It is the third-largest member of the Local Group, after the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) and the Milky Way. With a diameter of approximately 60,000 light-years, it contains around 40 billion stars. M33 is known for its active star formation regions, especially NGC 604, one of the largest H II regions in the Local Group. It is gravitationally linked to Andromeda and may eventually merge into a larger galactic structure.
