-- بعد 111 مباراة بدون هزيمة.. اللاجئ الإيراني فيروزا يفوز على بطل العالم في الشطرنج حقق الفتى الإيراني على رضا فيروزا، مفاجأة من العيار الثقيل، بالفوز على بطل العالم في الشطرنج، النرويجي ماجنوس كارلسن، في المباراة التي استمرت لمدة 90 دقيقة في نهائي كأس بانتر بليتز. وفاز الفتي الإيراني صاحب الـ16 عاما، المصنف 21 عالميا، على كارلسن المصنف الأول في المباراة النهائية بنتيجة 8.5-7.5 لمسابقة بانتر بليتز لخروج المغلوب السريعة على الإنترنت، والبالغ مجموع جوائزها 14 ألف دولار. ووفقأ لموقع «سكاي نيوز»، أشاد بطل العالم بمستوى منافسه عقب المباراة، قائلا: «رأيته قويا بشكل مذهل وكانت مباراة جيدة، لقد كان ذلك أمرا مؤسفا حقا، خرجت من البطولة لكنه يستحق الثناء الكامل». من جانبه قال الفتى الإيراني: «أعتقد أن المباراة كانت متساوية، ولا أعتقد أنني كنت أفضل، فقط كنت محظوظا». ومن المقرر أن تجمع الثنائي مباراة جديدة في بطولة ينظمها ماجنوس كارلسن على الإنترنت يوم 20 أبريل الحالي، ويبلغ مجموع جوائزها 250 ألف دولار وتضم أفضل 8 لاعبين بالعالم. جدير بالذكر أن ماجنوس كارلسن، حطم الروسي سيرجي تيفياكوف بخوض 110 مباراة دون هزيمة في عام 2005، بعدما واصل عدم الهزيمة في 111 مباراة على التوالي في يناير 2020.
