Hi Chess Friends, Yes it's time for the 2019 World Chess Series Beginners Tournament with Prize Money to be Won and Diamond Memberships to be Won, so spread the word fast. Who will Win the First Prize this time and be the New 2019 Beginners Champion! Will last Years 2018 Champions be back to defend their Championship Titles. Lasts years 2018 World Chess Series Beginners Tournament was Won by 2 players who each tied for first place. This was amazing because the Tournament was one of the toughest Beginners Tournaments ever put on chess.com and actually all Prize Winners which were the First 5 Winning Places played awesome chess over a long time. So Congratulations to them all again and I hope they come back and Defend their titles. The Winners of 2018's Beginners World Chess Series Tournament were Tied for 1st Place was White_Knight_74 from Bulgaria $750 and RajpalSingh from India $750 and they both played outstanding chess. Some of you may already know the 2 Winners.2nd Place went to Danyhen from Venezuela $250, 3rd Place to Gardiys from Russia $125 and 4th Place was Viaes from Russia as well.* The 5 Prize Winners also each Won a 1 Year Diamond Membership at Chess.com valued at $99 US Dollars. FRIENDLY WARNING Last Years Tournament we had for Beginners filled up in just 2 days and we could only take 200 Players, and a lot of players missed out and I was very sorry but I couldn't do anything to change it. So please, please, If you don't want to miss this years tournament, please get your name down at the World Chess Players Club before the end of the Month and tell your friends as well. The Tournament format is a round robin with 6 qualifying rounds with 2 players from each team going thru to the next rounds. In fact some of players from last year have already told me they have started training already which is great to hear. To them and all this years players I wish you all the luck in the world.
