Hey guys. As many of you know, LTAC is about to undergo a very large change. The name is being changed to Always Take The Shot, and the club is going to focus on inspirational stories of people who took a chance as discussion topics. this is going to be a slightly more rigid system. The jobs of before are not going to be the same. Here are the new jobs: Owner (SA): Me Staff Manager (Second highest rank in the staff, is the "Boss" of the staff. Has authority to make club decisions.) Must have been an LTAC Super Admin. (SA): Head Of Recruiting (Third highest rank in the Staff, handles people interested in becoming staff members and will work with me to create training camp. Must have been an LTAC Super Admin.)(SA): Relations Manager (Fourth Highest rank in the staff, Acts as contact admin in EW, WOTS, and MW Must have been LTAC Super Admin) (SA): Conflict Manager (Fifth highest rank in the staff, deals withy conflict between members and runs the courthouse.) (SA): (@Sban1 if he wants it.) 3 Moderators (deals with enforcing rules. Must have been LTAC Super Admin or Admin.) (A): Graphic Designer (Makes designs for the club. Must have been LTAC Super Admin, Admin, or Coordinator.)(A): 2 Tournament Creators (makes weekend tournaments. can be anyone.) What do you want people to know about you as an LTAC staff member?

hey everyone! So, I can't tell y'all how happy I am to see us all working as a team and becoming one of the best admin teams on chess.com! I realized that our club is growing very quickly, and we have no official staff rules. None of you guys are doing anything wrong, but there have been some questions thrown around about the jobs, expectations, and action of each title. For that reason, here are the official LTAC staff rules to create some clarity. Co-Owner (@dogs4evr) The co-owner is allowed to do virtually everything I can. This includes muting, kicking, letting people into the club, creating forums, creating matches, enforcing rules, making decisions for the club, authorizing (or not) advertising, determining what qualifies as breaking an LTAC rule and taking proper action, deleting inappropriate notes, changing the description when necessary, etc. The only thing I ask the co-owner not to so without my permission is banning. Thanks! Super Admins (@FaithfulServant, @Redithon, @CDRED141) Super Admins are allowed to do most of what the owner and co-owner can do, with a few exceptions. Super Admins are allowed to mute, kick, let people into the club, create forums, create matches, delete inappropriate notes, and enforce the rules of the club. I ask Super Admins to refrain from authorizing advertising without checking with me or @dogs4evr, and not make any changes to the club description without checking with me or dogs4evr. Admins (, @Xx_Nebula_xX,@Avaniyup, @BillBelichick01, @Timalina2) Admins are allowed to do everything Super Admins can, with the exception of creating matches and kicking. If you are an admin and you believe there is a reason for someone to be kicked, please check with me or any other LTAC Super Admin and come to a conclusion. Hey team- I have been having some concerns about something lately. Our club becoming too generic. You see, every club here is somewhat generic, (maybe with the exception of R2GM) but I am nervous that we may be becoming too generic. Our community is special to us- but it won’t be to random users we invite to join. So, I am now open to any ideas for spicing up the club a bit. Weather that’s as simple as a description change or as ambitious as a name change or anywhere in between, I’m open to it. His do you guys feel about that? LTAC Owner, @hughienews

Hello everyone. So, I have been getting a lot of asks from very active members lately to become admin or coord. Unfortunately tho, I am having to turn them down because we don't have spaces on staff. I have been feeling bad about saying no to those people when the current staff is doing nothing for the club. Nothing personal- u don't have to do things for the club if you don't want and I am still very happy to have you as a member but if that is the case you will be removed from staff. The new rules are you must not go 5 days without activity in the club and no less than 4 posts/chats/forums in 1 week. if that doesn't happen, u will be demoted to member. If u r on vacation this doesn't count. If u r going away let me know and you will keep ur spot until u return. Thank you guys for understanding, I don't wanna be rude, but I need to do what's good for the club and ensure that all staff is active. Thanks!! LTAC owner, @hughienews

Hey y'all- hope everyone's day is going well. I think it is no secret to anybody here at LTAC staff that there has been some rising conflict between two of our staff members, SA @CDRED141 and coord. @ren97ren. So, I thought the most fair way to settle this was to make a forum stating my opinion, and see what everyone else thinks. First of all, both of you are very good friends of mine, which makes "taking a side" nearly impossible because I'd hate to lose either of your friendships. That said, I do believe what @ren97ren and @ChessPawn921 (whom I have had a falling out with since) did in TCOF was wrong. Was rebelling against the owner of the club enough to get a ban? Probably. Here is where I sit though- @ChessPawn921 simply left my club and blocked me just because I am a TCOF SA. @ren97ren handled the situation much more maturely, admitting his mistake and saying that it was wrong and that he could have handled himself much better. Since the time of the TCOF incident in May 2022, I know that there have been many sparks between @ren97ren and @CDRED141, as well as @dogs4evr which makes my position more difficult given that she is the co-owner of this club. However- I do believe that we can coexist as LTAC staff members. If you want, I can even design our team projects so you guys don't have to work directly together. I'd rather not, but I will if that will make things better. Lastly, @CDRED141, I understand why you banned @ren97ren from TCOF. But he has never done anything wrong or broken any rules here in LTAC. So, it is my belief that as long as that continues, @ren97ren deserves another chance here to prove himself. I created this as a forum not an announcement- simply so we can all discuss it. I am open to talk. Disagreement is ok- but do not fight. Any of you.
