If this group is for beginners, I suggest studying the fun short games of Greco, from the 1600s. They illustrate chess principles like -- don't move a piece twice in the opening, develop before attacking, etc by showing masterful, elegant punishment of bad play. Here's an example at http://www.chesslikeananimal.com/?p=229
Not a single one! I don't know how long this groups been around, or how active any/all the players are here, but for those lower rated than me, I'm willing to help! (Hence my joining) Likewise, anyone higher, I'm willing and would like help as well. :) Hope everyone's life is going well!
