Hello everyone, I am Aarav Dhar aka thoragnarook on CHESScom and Lichess. Today I will be sharing a game with Equus gambit, a gambit that I invented in October of 2025!For a detailed analysis and information about the gambit you can check the following link-DESTROY WITH EQUUS GAMBIT!!!!!! (NEW GAMBIT) - Chess.comIn this game against the Magnus bot I made 2 brilliants (sacrifices)! The following is the game: Here we are positionally very strong! And according to the engine we are +1. Our bishops are on great active squares and they are preventing the betterment of black's position, also the light-squares like d7, c8, and e8 are very weak!So here with the right plan it is easy to attack, create threats and dominate more of the dominating position that white here already has.Thank you for reading guys! Hope you all have a great day ahead full of love, happiness and peace!

Hello friends, today I would like to share a new opening (gambit) that I (thoragnarook) had played against DougojoThis game was played OTB (Over-the-board), in which I (thoragnarook) was playing as White and Dougojo was playing as Black. This game was played on 25-09-2025 (25th September 2025)The game went like this:  The move Ne6!! is the key move and the move that introduces the Gambit! This opening hasn't been explored by any chess master, as you can see below:This opening contains 5 major variations along with many sub-variations This opening focuses on exploiting black's kingside position and exploit black's light squares. In this opening we play an aggressive-positional combination of moves that improve our position and also attack the opponent's king. As this is a rare line, it will become harder for people to defend against this as the knight on e6 looks important to capture even though it weakens black's position. In some lines after they capture the knight:7)  ..., fxe68) e5, Kf79) exf6, Nxf610) O-O This improves our position and destroys black's position, Re1 by white is a solid move that will attack the semi-open e-file. The combination of aggressive style with positional style works best in this opening. The h4-e8 light squared diagonal will be a weakness for black in the long term.Thank you so much for your time, I hope that you enjoyed reading and will use this new opening in your games! ❤️I would like to name this Gambit, Equus Gambit!

Hey guys, Hope you all are having a wonderful time! Today I'm gonna share a line in my gambit which is e6 variation in which black tries to refute the gambit but here I will tell you what to do in this line!!  Unlike the typical Ne6 sacrifice, we go with the Nxf7!! A Brilliancy!! And aim to weaken the black's kindside light-squares! Thank you for reading and have a great day!! <3
