Rook Bishop and knight transform every turn (initial positions are same). Let me explain further. In order to castle you must have your original rook be transformed back to rook and have necessary open space like in regular chess. The King and Queen never transform and remain the same through the game.
Every turn you take a move, then all of Your rooks, bishops and knights instantly transform into a different piece (the next piece in the rotation). Play continues from there. Rotation cycle is as follows (Rook->Bishop, Bishop->Knight, and Knight->Rook). The cycle never stops and is not optional but mandatory transforms.
Of course pawns don't transform either.
