Hi Everyone! We are excited to announce that we have been chartered as an official PFSO organization! As a PFSO organization, we have been allowed to meet in the Hub, now known as the library, every Friday. We will have our first meeting this Friday, October 8th, with the entire silent room reserved just for us! The room will be open from the beginning of lunch, but the actual meeting will start post FMP. Please finish your lunch before entering the library. We also have a lot of new plans this year! Along with just playing chess, DHS chess members can now partake in assistant coaching opportunities at not only Fallon, but potentially Wells, and receive volunteer hours along with other compensation. We also plan on hosting online and in-person tournaments every so often for everybody to join and win prizes! Lastly, we will be having our first elections next Friday, October 15th. Please read the Bylaws and overview deck below to understand how to run if you would like to! These positions require a lot of work so please only apply if you truly feel passionate for the club and would like to help the club move forward. Please sign up for our Discord if you haven't already, and look out for any updates related to the club on Chess.com and Discord. Also, let anyone else know if you think might be interested in joining! Due date for Officer Applications: October 13th Google form to apply for club officer Slide Deck Bylaws Sincerely, Dublin High Chess team
