Dear Finno-Ugrics, our team needs more administration. I have too much at my hands right now to administrate all by my self this wonderfull team as it deserves. We have great members and very important job in building a hub for all Finno-Ugric nations to create cohesion and friendship. Something to really fight for! Bland_Joe has kindly offered help and i think he would really help the team! Maybe Marignon would also be up for the job..? =) Anyone else available for admin job? Also, post ideas, wishes and other team related things here!

Friends! I currently don't have much time to be online so our team needs 1-3 persons who want and can to co-admin it: 1.Lead team matches, make and accept\decline challenges, lock rosters etc.First of all we need to participating EurasianLeague Tournament. 2.Make and lead VoteChess games. 3.develope the group(create forum topics, photo albums, wipe foums and the group's wall from spam and abuse, send invites and greet new memebers on the wall, etc) Any volonteers for co-admining can imform me by PersonalMessage or in this topic.
Hello, friends! Are we strong enough to try some thematic matches? Is yes, which openings would you like to play in our team? Should we choose well-known and often-played openings to be sure most of us are skilled enough to play them well& Or it's better to try some rare and unrothodox openings to practice them, to get more opportunity for improvisation and just to have fun?As for me, I think our first thematis matches should be somehow( by the name of postions e.g) connected with the name and subject of the team. So I suggest:1.Hungarian Defense: e4 -e5, Nf3-Nc6, Bc4 -Be72 Budapest Gambit: d4-Nf6, c4-e53. Jaenisch Gambit:e4-e5, Nf3-Nc6, Bb5-f5 ( called so by the name of a Finnisch and Russian chess player Carl Jaenisch but more known as Schliemann Defense)Give your oppinion in this topic if you like and want to play on of these 3 variants or suggest other ones which you would like to play.
Our group is invited to participate in the Eurasian League tournament. These are the Rules: Requirements to join the tournament:The team size can not overcome 400 membersThe team represents a ethnicity from Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, Central Asia and North Asia (it can be a national team).Or a team that represents an administrative subdivision of an eaurasian country (city, oblast, region). Minimum number of players in the match form each team are 5.Vacation is alowed but it's not recommended to take ti for a long period of time.A team has 7 days to send and accept a challenge for a match. Both teams should lock the rosters within established starting day.In the case a team doesn't do that it can be forfeited. The teams from the left part of the tournament table are to send challenges to the teams form the right part of the table. The team from the right column can sent the challenge if it doesn't get one for some reasons.it's a Swiss-system tournament.Everyone can play only for one team. Team Siberia and Far East and The team of Siberian Federal District - Russia wil not play vs. each other due to planty of players who consist in both teams.3 days days per move in all matches. Two "divisions" in order to let players with any rating take part in the Tournament. The First Division is for players rated >1600. The Second Division is for players rated <1600. So shall we accept this suggestion and give a try?
