1. A club always starts off with a purpose. Unique clubs have things other clubs can't replicate easy. So, think of a unique idea, or an already used idea that you can improve. If you simply say it's about chess, it isn't really a hook. There are ten thousand other clubs about "chess" 2. Once you get a purpose and improve the description/make some rules, I'd focus on activity. Currently there's only 3 people with "jobs here" and this club looks pretty desolate. Make more jobs build around the purpose, don't promote people for nothing. 3. Invite people/Advertise. You want to grab active members on this site that you can find pretty easily in this clubs. Most of the time they will have invites off though. Usually inviting them through other means is fine, as long as your purpose is solid. 4. Once you seriously get things rolling, there are other options here. Mostly just decoration, but you can make events in the club/join on the outside. Always keep things interesting.
