I believe it goes without saying that having a drink while playing chess is a part of our Club Culture.

I have joined a few clubs on Chess.com. Chess.com Legends Club evidently used to be prestigious with monthly tournaments and prizes.  Two years ago they paused club events while they reworked the format.  Since I joined nothing has happened. The Chess Federation of Canada and the Maritime Chess Club have not had any activity since I joined. I accepted an invitation to join 5 for Fighting.  It seemed like a cool club with a military theme, and they aspired to take first place in Daily tournaments.  Unfortunately, the club was effectively shut down.  Chess.com kept banning the Administrator from communicating, probably because of the military theme. I am with North America United now.  They are pretty active in all types of tournaments.  I've played a couple of team matches and a vote Chess game with them. So, since this club is brand new, what's the vision for the Kennebecasis Valley Chess Club?
