Hey everyone! I'm assuming you all know who Justin Bieber is. My sister is a HUGE fan, and she wants me to get this kid Matty B who is 8 or something and a REAALLY good rapper to win the Justin Bieber Song Cover Contest. Anyway, just click Matty B on the top ten list and when you click Matty B, in the lower right corner, there should be a button that says "vote" Matty B will win! http://ryanseacrest.com/2012/05/14/the-bieber-off-round-2-ten-boyfriend-covers-artists-are-eliminated/

This group can become very strong, but only if we put our minds together and help out as much as possible. We have a team match and a vote chess match that I want as many of you as possible to join so I can look at what we need and where our weaknesses are. Hi all! My group, Chess-0-Matic, has joined up with a few other groups to take on TURK CHESS PLAYERS. As many of you know, TCP has topped the team match leaderboard, and they are extremely skilled chess players. Anyway, if I could get all member's/admin's vote on joining up with us, that would be great. Thx! soccerbenrules

Hey... We have some Vote Chess games going on. Unfortunately, of 85 team members, only about 8 members are actually joining these matches. League of Chess is getting crushed in Vote Chess games. I am urging other members to join. We need smart players and players willing to communicate with the group before submitting ridiculous votes. Thanks!! We need the help!

I am looking at all the current vote chess games. Do you see a pattern?? You all vote to exchange pieces instantly without realizing the consequences of the new positional disadvantage. Basically, you accept every "gambit" without any thought to the consequence. Try a simple new theory (within reason, obviously). When you move a piece, do not touch that piece again for 5-10 moves. Instead, we will continue developing! League of chess has won 33% of it's vote chess games... let's change this. I'll help where I can. Rule # 2.... see my post about VOTE CHESS. No rush voting, let's be a group and discuss ideas before submitting a vote. If we work together and discuss games and ideas together, our own personal games will improve, including team matches. Can the team captains please support my ideas?? Let's do this and start winning!! It will trickle down to our personal games as well.

You typically have 2 days to vote for a move. The first 24 hours should be spent discussing ONLY, not voting. The second 24 hours should be spent digesting the comments to make an intelligent move. I see some Vote chess matches here getting wrecked fast because people are rushing into voting. Discuss games more please.

Hey all, this opening is for those of you who don't really want explosive games with tactical shots everywhere. Its more tame, and more solid, but it can definitely get tactical. I personally love this opening for must win/draw situations. First I will cover the slav, Then the queens gambit declined, and then the Queens Gambit accepted. After that I will cover the much more obscure Marshall defense. So here is the Queens Gambit declined. Once again, its pretty straightforward, which is a common theme in the Queens Gambit. You will almost always have a game where you just simply develop. and Finally the Queens Gambit Accepted. This line is by far the easiest to play for white. It is quite simple, because you only have to develop all your pieces. White maintains a strong initiative throughout the game, and as long as he doesn't mess it up, he should win. Also there is a trap that comes up quite a bit, so I will toss that in too. And finally, the obscure Marshall Defense. This came up in a tournament, and I ended up drawing, but only because I let my initiative go. Be sure to maintain it, and you should have no problem winning :)

Hi all! I have recently noticed that some of you don't play book (I have nothing against that). I am sure some of you want an easy way to get out of the opening alive, or atleast with a slight advantage. Because of this, I am going to start making small opening articles, hopefully you can pick something up from them. Today I will cover the first part of the italian game, the two knights. This is quite a common opening and I used to play it almost every game. So here we go :) So now lets look at Nf6 :)
