In opening theory, we are all used to e4 d4 but what if you faced b3? In this topic, I'm gonna teach you to abuse the new players into submission by using b3. Playing as white: 1. b3, Nf6 2. Bb2, g6, whenever you see a fianchetto with your bishop staring directly at it, get excited, because in my experience most of them reigned because they didn't know what to do 3. g4, Bg7 4. g5, in most cases, they will not move the knight or move it in the wrong square, the correct move and only move is Nh5. This is known as the spike attack, this has made me laugh so hard so many times as to how many people don't know how to react to it. If you see them not counter fiachetto-ing, then make a pawn structure similar to the Sicilian dragon's, play e3. This opening can be very... Sharp... So goodluck on surviving and always remember that your bishop on b2 IS NOT DEFENDED so when you see you can make a discovered attack on a queen on f6, make sure it's guarded. Now enjoy gaining your rating points from confused new players that rely on opening theory instead of actually playing the game with creativity.
