Hey! For the past two weeks I've been working on an online modding and analysis tool for "Chess on an Infinite Plane", and it's finally finished. You can try it out here. I also made a short guide here on how to use it and its basic functions. Here are some screenshots of what it looks like: Analysis mode. Edit mode. A board I made with all the current usable pieces. Probably not playable, but it looks cool. I'd also like to thank @vickalan for helping me test the editor while I was working on it. Feel free to make any suggestions, or to report bugs if you find any. Edit: You can now find the source code on github here.

I recently read about the rose, which is a fairy piece that was invented for "Chess on a really big board". Basically it moves like a knight but once it has moved it can move again by basically turning 45 degrees and moving the knight move that is in that direction. It can move any number of knight moves as long as they are legal. Do you think we should add this to chess on an infinite plane? I hope nobody gets mad that I posted this video, but it's an interesting one about chess on an infinite board (without the extra pieces). Edit: vickalan already posted this video 2 years ago, sorry for double posting. I'll leave this thread here for the comments.
Here's two ideas for an icon for this club. Let me know if you think we should vote on it, or just by consensus. If you have other graphics for an idea post it too. 1) crown on an infinite chessboard: 2) logo in front of celestial starburst (actually an eclipse): (the images should scale-down automatically when added as an icon).
Here is an interesting video about infinite chess. It's more related to game theory, and not so much to actual "fair play games". One thing I don't like is she briefly mentions that games "don't have draws" which changes the theory a lot. But it's interesting that some mathematicians study this type of stuff, and discover very weird endings with chess pieces that keep traveling to infinity (and more)? (Not sure what the "omega" is all about).

I hope nobody gets mad at me for plastering this club with videos. But this club is new so I'm just adding stuff to it.
