When we sacrifice our darkness, we become whole. When we sacrifice our light, we becomeinhuman.
When we sacrifice our darkness, we become selfless. When we sacrifice our light, we are without selves.
When we sacrifice our darkness, we can see the Truth. When we sacrifice our light, we cannot see anything.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
Upon reading these sentences, I hereby force you to make a decision. Are you going to become a monster, without conscience or insight into why the world is the way it is? Or will you search for Truth, the truth that will help you look beyond your own desire, and make you whole again?
For those of you who love darkness, you're worse than a fool. You're more self-conceited than a bumbling moron. You know what I'm talking about. Don't pretend that there isn't a wrong or right; don't deceive yourself into thinking, "Morals don't exist". You're ruled by a government, which is in place to stop wrong and enforce right. You regard murder, adultery, and stealing as wrong, even though you won't admit it to even yourself.
For those of you who love light, you are near to the Truth. You have eyes that can see, ears that can hear, and a mind of discernment. Don't be worn down by darkness, even the darkness that feasts within you. Always be searching for the Truth, and you will find life.
The Truth About the World
You may say that an Intelligent Designer does not exist. But you have grossly overlooked how intricate the universe is, how complex even the simplest protein of life is. Let us look at these things.
The simplest protein of life is Ribonuclease. It has 124 amino acids that all need to be in the exact right order, and it must be folded in the right three-dimensional shape for it to function properly with other cellular systems. With 20 available amino acids, the number of possible sequences for the Ribonuclease protein is 10 to the 161st power. For reference, the estimated number of atoms in the universe is 10 to the 81st power.
Now consider what the Ribonuclease can do if there are no other systems to allow it to function as it normally would. Nothing. It is useless by itself. All systems of the cell must be there at the same time for Ribonuclease to function as it would normally. The chances of a cell randomly being formed by itself are estimated to be 1 in 10 to the 90,000th power.
You might argue that over a long enough period of time, certain structures would be able to form, arising in possible life. However, Time does not increase the chances of this happening, it decreases them. Time destroys, Time eats away, and eventually results in death to all things. Time cannot create, it can only weed away at all stability and order. Throw random parts to a private jet into a warehouse on the ground, then release Time into the warehouse; the parts will be consumed by the ground and plants that grow after it, and will eventually erode and rust away into nothing.
We can look beyond this scope too, of course. We see the laws of physics corresponding with and represented by mathematical equations and wonder how such precision was established. We see similar geometrical shapes across the universe as well as its beings and wonder how they came to exist. We see the human’s propensity to call things “bad” and to call things “good”, and wonder if this propensity is not but the shadow of an absolute moral standard provided by a Mightier Entity.
We see stories of the supernatural, stories of ghosts and specters, angels and demons, gods and deities, from across the globe throughout history, and watch as cognizant humans around the world give testimony to terrifying demonic spirits who demand the sacrifice of meat and threaten violence if not appeased. We hear tales of intelligent people who saw angelic beings that appeared at the right time to assist them in the time of their struggle and doom. We see evidence of the spiritual realm, but we dismiss it as foolish talk and old wives’ tales despite it happening all around us through occult and satan-worship, and through people who have experienced visitations from an all-powerful god who calls himself Yhwh.
I wonder if there’s something more to this world.
And now we look upon a period of thirty-three years in history, a time occupied by the brutal Roman Empire, led by Caesar Augustus. By this time, the Empire had conquered many nations, including a few middle-eastern nations. One of these was the little nation of Israel. And in a little-known town called Nazareth, a child was born to a carpenter. He grew up like a human, he talked like a human, he walked like a human, he struggled like a human, and he learned the trade of his father, carpentry. However, he did decidedly inhuman things. He made the sick healthy. He made the crippled walk. He made the blind see. He made the deaf hear. He made the dead return to life. He taught people to turn the other cheek, to love their enemies, and to serve each other in unconditional kindness and forgiveness.
And He claimed that He was Yahweh made human, that He was distinct from Yahweh but also Yahweh. He claimed to have the power to forgive the crimes and offenses against Yahweh that all humans have ever made, and He claimed He would do this in a surprising way. At the end of His short life of thirty-three years, He died by suffocation and bleeding out on a Roman crucifixion cross for a crime he never committed, for a wrong he never perpetrated. To those who followed Him and loved Him, it impossible to believe, and there was no hope.
But then, after three days, He arose from the dead.
He claimed to have conquered death, to have declared null the slate of our crimes against Yahweh, that each individual person could now know personally and have an intimate relationship with Yahweh, and that we could all be His children.
Do you believe that Jesus was who He said He was?
What to do if you're new in your faith in Yahweh
If you've made a commitment to follow Yahweh recently, then you might be looking for where to start. Contrary to popular belief, going to church is not a deciding factor in your spiritual life; don't listen to what other people are saying (even if they are pastors) without studying the Bible for yourself, which is the ultimate way to gain traction in your spiritual life. Your spiritual life consists of you and Yahweh, in one relationship together, walking together each day as you mature and grow alongside your Creator. Quite an amazing thing, to be intimate friends with the Creator of the Universe. No, what is going to boost your faith forward are these things:
-Study your Bible. This does not mean just reading a few verses a day and then going and forgetting what you read as you do something else. Really learn what's it's teaching you.
-Find a community of believers who are strong their faith and help you grow yours. This is where fellowship comes in; fellowship is the act of being with and supporting fellow believers. You can go to a church, where you can be around other Christians and observe them living their life. Keep in mind that real Christians' lives should not look like that of the world's.
-Don't be afraid to use resources to help you learn about Yahweh. Here's a few trustworthy resources that I would highly recommend:
https://www.biblegateway.com This is a free, online Bible with numerous translations and additional study resources. I would recommend the Amplified translation, and the New Living Translation. Enjoy!
https://bibleproject.com This is a free, non-profit website dedicated to sharing deep insights into the Bible, which hundreds of illustrative, informative, and well thought-out videos, designed to shed further light into the deeper truth that the Bible holds. Bible Project also has an online Bible, Bible studies, and classes, as well. I would recommend the "Who is God?" video, and the "Spiritual Beings" series, to start with.
-As a final point, remember these pieces of advice. Just because you're following Yahweh now, does not mean that everything will suddenly be easier. Remember that life is suffering, and even if things seem hopeless, you have to trust in Yahweh. It's hard, but believe me, I know from experience that trusting in Him is the best way to live your life. People will ridicule you, and hate you because you are a light in the darkness exposing them for who they are, simply by your decision to follow Yahweh, but you can rest in the protection of Yahweh when you face these trials.
