On the menu, either located on the left, right or top of the screen hover over “play” and move the cursor over “live chess” and click on it. It has a hand holding a pawn as its icon. Alternatively, you can click on the icon, and it will take you to live chess. Locate the “tournaments tab” on the top right-hand side. There will be a tournament labelled as "Rooty Hill Chess Club (and the type of tournament it is)” It would be at the top or near the top of the list. Registration on the chess.com tournament starts 1 hour before the tournament starts, at 6:15pm as the tournament will be scheduled to start at exactly 7:15pm AEST. Late entries are accepted by chess.com, but you will only be able to play starting the round after the current one. Once the tournament starts, you will automatically be paired against someone else, and after all games for that round have finished, you will be paired against someone with the same points as you If you wish to withdraw early, you are allowed to leave the tournament by finding the "withdraw" button, which is an X icon.
