Our method uses a point-based system, where points will be rewarded upon completion of various actions, and a certain number of points is required for each status.  Coordinator: 50 points Admin: 140 points Super Admin: 250 points  Ultra Admin: Our special status, where you will be able to organize events for Shattered Abyss! (Super admins are usually allowed to do it, but not here.) to get Ultra Admin, get 400 points OR win a monthly blindfold chess tournament or a competitive event here. Ways to get points: help out the club (can be a person, help discuss and/or fix an issue, just being helpful in summary) 20 points Be Active: 5 points / hour Win a competitive event: (does not include GTM, but does include GTM Championship) Instant Ultra Admin Be kind / don’t break rules: 40 points each day for being kind and following the SA rules. Hello Shattered Abyss! Welcome to the new rules list. Rules are important for clubs because they keep people kind, keep the club chill, and make Chess.com a better place! Without further ado, let’s get into the rules: #1: Be kind. (Punishment= a reminder of our rules if you’re new, 24 hour mute if you’re not. (New members are members that joined less than 1 month ago) #2: Follow all chess.com rules. (Punishment=ban from Chess.com) #3: Do not post content that may be inappropriate for some people without my permission (Again, a friendly reminder of the rules if you’re new, which will be the case for all rules, and a 24 hour mute if you’re not.) #4: do not beg for promotion. (Punishment for doing it once: Nothing. Punishment for doing it twice: 24 hour mute. Punishment for doing it three times: demotion and you will be unable to reach Ultra-Admin status unless I give you the Shattered Abyss Seal Of Approval.™️ (SASOA) #5: No public advertising. Instead advertise in https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/advertising-839. (Punishment = reminder if you’re new, 1 hour mute if you’re not.) Remember that a “new” member of the club is someone who has been in the club for less than one month. Please note that repeated or intolerable violations to these rules can result in strict punishments. If a member is causing chaos and violating rules WAY too much, staff members will debate on the question of if the troublemaking member needs to be permanently banned from Shattered Abyss.

Today we have lost an admin in our club. @Knightlover50. This account was banned for fair play violation. They will no longer appear in Staffwars or in the club as a whole.

Welcome to Staffwars Round 12. This round will be a “Free For All”. Meaning EVERY single staff member, regardless of active or not, will be participating. Instead of just the most active staffs and no one else participating, as seen in previous rounds. See below for how to play Staffwars. In this event, you may vote for who you think is the best staff member here in Shattered Abyss! You can go off of any criteria, (kindness, activity, whatever, etc.) I will frequently update this for 3 days and the votes will be recorded. The person with the most votes is the best staff member in SA! (Note that you are allowed to vote yourself if you’re a staff member.) If there is a tie when the event ends, a wheel will be spun to decide the winner. The winner gets 500 cheers, an announcement congratulating them, and a permanent spot in the sidebar. Also, TEL’s bedroom window and Pizza N oopy’s dog as well as my bedroom window count as 2 entries into the wheel for @TheEnlighteningsLightning and @Pizza_N_oopy and myself. So those people will have a higher chance of winning if the wheel needs to be spun to decide the winner. For instance, If TEL’s bedroom window wins, then @TheEnlighteningsLightning will get the cheers and win. On the other hand, if Pizza_N_oopy’s dog wins, then @Pizza_N_oopy will win.
