Halloween is coming soon, and we are going to have a gambit-themed tournament. Here are some of my favorites:
The scotch gambit
The scotch gambit is sound, and creates some nice wins. This week, Liang beat Aronian in a nice 32 move game.
You can also find many other nice wins in the explorer tab.
The Evans gambit
This is my favorite gambit as it is sound, and creates complex positions that are frequently won. My favorite Evans gambit win is the evergreen game.
Simon Williams made a nice lesson course on the Evans, with many nice games and lots of opening theory.
