Hi Duolingo family. This is co-owner and super admin, BrownLamby18. As one of MagnusCarlsen 5587's best friends, I am here to announce some hard news.
Due to family issues, MagnusCarlsen 5587, will be leaving chess.com entirely for at least a year in his words. He brought so much to the club and created something special.
He created a whole connection to the chess community. Whether it was just talking to him, or organizing events, he was a leader to us. He will be remembered.
