Do you like tourist railroads? A few days ago I visited the New Hope & Ivyland (tourist) RR in New Hope Pa. It is actually a working shortline that does tourist railroading as a supplement. My wife and I were the only passengers on the entire train, which was kinda cool for us but I guess it wasn't so great for the RR. Train was 1 EMD GP-30 pulling a 3 car consist, 1 parlor (1st class) and 2 coach. They have a 2-8-0 Connie but it was not running on that particular day. They are in the process of restoring a 4-8-4 to running order. I can't wait. I have yet to see a running Northern. I have some picts that I will post later.
