Here's a game called "forum chess." In it, each poster makes a move, and we'll play a game. You're not restricted to any one side, so you might make a move for white one day and black the next. Please post the position and moves up to that point to make it easier for the next person. Note it is helpful to post it as a game, and not just a diagram (but its not that big of a deal).

I created this thread for the purpose of sharing chess puzzles with each other, for w/e reason.
Ill start if off with a puzzle I composed myself. I'd like to know what you guys think of it.
White to move and mate in 5. There are two diagrams because there is 2 different variations. Whites first 3 moves are the same on both boards, and the mate in 5 applies to both.

i like queen's gambit and sicilian defense closed variation. they mostly help me for occupying center area which is helpful for the further game.

many of the team matches we have been playing are tough. Most of our players are in the range 1400 - 1600. So when we challenge other teams, many of us have to play against rating way higher than us. I see most of us with rating 1450s playing against 1700 -1900. I just wanna make sure that you are okay with it and agree that it improves your chess skills.
If you dont want to play against people with ratings way higher than you please respond. Then i will try to create more team challenges for Under 1700 so that you can have fun playing with people of suitable ratings.

my favorite chess pieces are queen and king :D
queen is the best piece in many cases. sometimes depends on the situation

Heres part 1 of United Chess.com's Puzzle Competition. I will post 3 puzzles, 1 that is 1 move, 1 that is 2 moves, and one that is 3 moves. You will have 7 days to send the answers to me. Please do not post them in this forum. The one mover will be worth 1 point, the 2 mover will be worth 2 points, and the 3 mover will be worth 3 points. please vote for the move that u think is a most appropriate move. (it doesnt affect your rating at all)
