Here are some tips on how to avoid "Declined":

1. Don't use Randos

2. Don't use Ranters

3. Don't use "sometimes"

4. Don't use "rare occurrences," unless you are talking about capturing pieces (Ox modifier).

5. Listen to what your opponents have to say, especially if they are high-rated (like Wolyn) or a CGA (like Qilp).

6. Make your game more unique (like Unique).

7. Make gameplay less linear (that's a fancy way of saying "have more variety").

8. Invite a CGA or high-rated player to play. (If you don't do this because you don't know how to start, you need to assign each player a colour or just turn on Autostart) List of good testers: ChessMasterGS, BN1208, JKCheeseChess, Qilp, Wolyn, NoWellOkay, and many more.

9. Use "Symmetric Editing," 8 times out of 10, the resulting position is balanced.

10. Start with something simple.

11. ACTUALLY READ DECLINE MESSAGES

12. Follow all of the tips.
